Cleaner and Grounds Maintenance Operative

Ashford, Kent

As we continue to expand, we are on the lookout for candidates with a passion for cleaning and gardening to bolster our friendly team.

You would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the communal areas of residential properties in the Kent area, which means a full, clean driving license is essential.

Your gardening responsibilities would include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, weed spraying, pruning and general tidying. Your communal cleaning duties would include hoovering, dusting, polishing, washing down surfaces and sweeping.

We want someone who takes pride in their consistently high standard of work. A proactive person by nature with an exceptional eye for the little details, the successful candidate will be reliable, conscientious and always looks to exceed a client’s expectations.

Trainee Property Manager

Leigh-on-Sea

As we continue to grow, we are searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a passion for property and world-class client and customer service to join us as a Trainee Property Manager at our Leigh-on-Sea office.

As a Trainee Property Manager at Gateway, you will be guided by some of the most seasoned and experienced industry professionals around on your property management journey. 

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Proactive management of a varied portfolio of properties
  • Assistance with Service Charge budget and accounts preparations
  • Handling day-to-day maintenance queries from customers and clients
  • Regular client and customer liaison

You may be required to attend evening meetings off-site and the occasional overnight stay. In return, we offer a competitive salary. 

Previous experience in the real estate industry would be advantageous, although not a necessity as full training will be provided. Applicant must have GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths and hold a full, clean UK driving license.
