Senior Property Manager

Mayfair, London

Due to unprecedented new business success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Block Property Manager to join our growing team in Mayfair, London.

You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of residential blocks, estates and buildings. The successful applicant will be required to provide outstanding levels of customer service to our clients and will be expected to have exceptional leasehold knowledge and be competent in handling various situations, including client management, attending regular meetings and conducting regular site visits.

The ideal candidate will preferably be AIRPM qualified and should have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar property management role. A full driving licence, as well as a flexible approach to working hours is required.

Accounts Assistant

Leigh-on-Sea

As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding Accounts Department as an Accounts Assistant at our office in Leigh-On-Sea.

The Accounts Assistant will be involved in the day-to-day preparation of budgets, actively working alongside the Property Management Department to ensure that they are realistic, effective, and distributed in a timely manner to achieve KPI targets. They will also contribute to the weekly budget report for distribution to the Director of Operations and Group Financial Controller, monthly periodics report for the Corporate Department and the monthly Corporate KPI reports for the Service Charge Department.

They will be proficient in the use of Excel and must be comfortable with handling and organising large sets of data. They will report directly to the Head of the Service Charge Department on all matters. This candidate must be a positive, self-motivated team player who takes ownership of their work. Being a good listener and meticulous attention to the details is imperative whilst being well organised to manage a demanding workload. 

Applicants must be either ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, preferably with previous Service Charge experience. Along with sound commercial understanding, you must possess excellent communication skills and an exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist Property Managers with account queries and budget preparation.
  • Input budgets onto the database ensuring charges are applied correctly and apportionments agree.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Prepare Service Charge accounts for the managed property portfolio to include:
    • Analysis of income and expenditure
    • Accruals and prepayments where necessary
    • Review and analysis of the Service Charge budget to actual expenditure and prior year performance.
    • Liaising with the Property Managers and external accountants to ensure accounts are complete, queries resolved and issued in a timely manner to achieve Corporate KPI targets.

Technical Assistant

Southend-on-Sea

As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as a Technical Assistant, based in our Head Office at Southend on Sea, Essex.

 

This role will be responsible for providing full administrative support to our Technical Department, including:

 

 

  • Creating and amending Service Charge budgets for new and pipeline developments
  • Regularly liaising with residential and developer clients
  • Negotiating and building relationships with contractors
  • Producing schedules, spreadsheets, presentations, proposals, reports, pitches and correspondence
  • Preparing developments for handover to the Property Management Department
  • Maintaining our business development filing system
  • Ensuring our new business records and databases stay up to date
  • Managing the unit completions process
  • Setting up new developments on our systems, liaising with departments and solicitors for information
  • Assisting with the preparation of welcome packs for new customers

 

 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced administrative role, preferably within the property sector. We’re looking for someone that is IT literate, has excellent attention to detail, is numerate, energetic, results driven, resourceful, articulate and has excellent relationship building skills.

Cleaner/Gardener

Maidstone, Kent

As we continue to expand, we are on the lookout for candidates with a passion for cleaning and gardening to bolster our friendly team. 

You would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the communal areas on several residential developments in the Maidstone area, which means a full, clean driving license is essential.

Your gardening responsibilities would include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, weed spraying, pruning and general tidying. Your communal cleaning duties would include hoovering, dusting, polishing, washing down surfaces and sweeping.

Service Charge Accountant

Leigh-on-Sea

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Charge Accountant to join our busy team at our Leigh-on-Sea office.

Applicants must be either ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, preferably with previous Service Charge experience. Along with sound commercial understanding, you must possess excellent communication skills and an exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

This opportunity offers the chance for a team player to assist and support the Head of the Service Charge Department in continuing to develop an already experienced team and working together to achieve Corporate KPI targets. This role requires a self-motivated, driven professional with the skills to manage multiple projects whilst working meticulously to strict deadlines.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare Service Charge budgets and actively working alongside the Property Management Department to ensure that these are realistic, effective, and distributed in a timely manner to achieve KPI targets.
  • Input budgets onto the database ensuring charges are applied correctly and apportionment’s agree.
  • Assist Property Managers with account queries and budget preparation.
  • Prepare the weekly budget report for distribution to DOO and GFC
  • Prepare the monthly periodics report for the Corporate Department.
  • Raise periodic Service Charge demands and recharges as required.
  • Budget and variance reporting
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
