Senior Property Manager

Mayfair, London

Due to unprecedented new business success, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Block Manager to join our Team at our office in Mayfair, London.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of residential blocks and estates comprising new builds, purpose built and converted properties. The successful applicant will be required to provide outstanding levels of customer service to our clients. 

The flexibility to travel for client and resident meetings regularly is a prerequisite, therefore a full, cleaning driving licence will be essential. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced and demanding but rewarding environment and be results-driven.

Ideally you will be MIRPM qualified and have over five years’ experience in the block management industry.

Chartered Surveyor

Leigh-on-Sea

Due to unprecedented new business success, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join our Team at our office in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

You will be required to carry out regular inspections on properties as instructed and oversee Section 20 works. This will include preparation of schedules of work, contracts and report writing. This role requires you to work closely with the Property Management department and liaise regularly with Property Managers on Section 20 works as well as conducting regular site inspections across various locations nationwide.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organising and overseeing all Section 20 works including the preparation of schedules of work, contract administration, defect diagnosis and report writing.
  • Management of external professional consultants and contractors.
  • Project managing all works updating Property Managers regularly.
  • Effectively managing budgets and completing projects on time.

    Professional skills and accreditation:
     
  • High level computer skills, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience necessary
  • RICS qualified essential

You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of residential blocks, estates and buildings. The successful applicant will be required to provide outstanding levels of customer service to our clients and will be expected to have exceptional leasehold knowledge and be competent in handling various situations, including client management, attending regular meetings and conducting regular site visits.

The ideal candidate will preferably be AIRPM qualified and should have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar property management role. A full driving licence, as well as a flexible approach to working hours is required.

Digital Marketing Assistant

Southend-on-Sea

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing Marketing Team in a full-time, office-based role in Southend-on-Sea.

A diverse position requiring a broad technical skillset, your primary duty would be to assist in the growth of the company’s digital presence in a competitive industry using a variety of different methods and tools.

This includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • Researching new lead opportunities using property databases and setting up profiles for ongoing monitoring and alerts on relevant projects for sales contact 
  • Researching new leads, companies and representatives for contact opportunities to introduce Gateway. 
  • Prepare marketing emails and materials to be distributed to new potential leads. 
  • Oversee our social media channels and exploring new ways to improve our reach
  • Staying on top of current industry information, including the latest industry news, events, awards etc
  • Managing our Google Ads output, tracking progress and identifying any relevant changes required

 

Whilst you will have your dedicated responsibilities, you will also be expected to assist the rest of the Marketing Team as and when required, therefore there will be some:

Other responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Events organisation and management
  • Tracking enquiry sources
  • Ensuring the company’s brand guidelines are adhered to throughout the company
  • Assisting with our monthly newsletter to 25,000 subscribers
  • Design work, photography and video editing
  • General administrative duties

 

The successful candidate can demonstrate a proficiency in their marketing capabilities, primarily a meticulous eye for spotting potential new business leads garnered from your thorough and extensive research. You are a quick learning, methodical self-starter who can adapt to new challenges as and when they arise. 

Expert knowledge in Google Ads, Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher) and a strong grasp of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) and Mailchimp would be a big bonus.

Trainee Property Manager

As a Trainee Property Manager at Gateway, you will be guided by some of the most seasoned and experienced industry professionals around on your property management journey. You will be responsible for proactively managing a varied portfolio of properties. From assisting in the preparation of Service Charge information and Accounts, budget preparation and management, through to managing maintenance issues and liaising with customers and clients, no two days are ever the same.

Cleaner/Gardener

Bristol

As GFM continues to expand, we are on the lookout for candidates with a passion for cleaning and gardening to bolster our friendly team.

You would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the communal areas of residential properties, which means a full, clean driving license is essential.

Your gardening responsibilities would include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, weed spraying, pruning and general tidying. Your communal cleaning duties would include hoovering, dusting, polishing, washing down surfaces and sweeping.

We want someone who takes pride in their consistently high standard of work. A proactive person by nature with an exceptional eye for the little details, the successful candidate will be reliable, conscientious and always looks to exceed a client’s expectations.
