Trainee Estates Manager

Leigh-on-Sea

The Job

Working alongside highly experienced property management professionals, your role will include:

  • Proactively managing a diverse portfolio of housing estates
  • Assisting with the preparation of Service Charge information and accounts
  • Supporting budget preparation and ongoing budget management
  • Handling maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Liaising with customers and clients to ensure high service standards
  • Building strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Using active listening and negotiation skills to resolve issues
  • Demonstrating ambition, resilience, and analytical thinking.
  • Receiving full training and support to achieve IRPM qualification (if not already held)

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Showcase a proactive and solution-oriented approach to handling complex property matters
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required

What You Need

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the property industry and/or in a customer service role
  • A full, clean driving license

Job location: Eastwood, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week shift pattern covering Monday to Saturday
Salary: Competitive with an annual review

This role offers a wide range of responsibilities, including maintaining communal areas across residential developments in Bristol and the surrounding areas, including, but not limited to:

Gardening Duties:

  • Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
  • Hedge trimming and shaping
  • Strimming and edging grass areas
  • Weed spraying and removal
  • Pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
  • General garden tidying and waste disposal

Communal Cleaning Duties:

  • Hoovering carpets and floors in communal areas
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
  • Washing down walls, doors, and skirting boards
  • Sweeping and mopping hard floors

This position will require the individual to have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to build trusting relationships whilst working towards ambitious sales targets.

Managing an expanding team, the perfect candidate is a natural-born leader who inspires, drives business growth, and sets the standard with exceptional sales acumen.

Reporting directly to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively manage sales generation by utilising a variety of marketing and networking techniques
  • Securing new business
  • Ensure all sales leads are followed up swiftly
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients from initial meeting through to home completion
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence and client networking

  • 3 years’ experience as a Sales Negotiator
  • A full, clean driving license

Job location: Southend, Essex
Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm 5 day per week

Conveyancer

The Person

The Job

  • Managing your own caseload of residential freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and mortgages
  • Drafting, negotiating, and implementing sale and purchase correspondence and documents
  • Reporting on title, settling transactions and client reporting
  • Instructing searches and reports
  • Maintaining all matters using a sophisticated Case Management System
  • Leading a small team of conveyancers as the department develops
  • Filing and other administration

When required, you will also be responsible for a range of property management matters, including:

  • Supporting all litigation matters, including County Court proceedings and First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) applications
  • Assisting with lease extensions, enfranchisement, and RTM (Right to Manage) processes
  • Handling complex enquiries raised by the Solicitors Enquiries Department on lease assignments, deeds of covenant, notice of transfer, and consents
  • Providing advice, support, and guidance to Property Managers

What You Need

  • You must be a qualified Solicitor (0-4 years PQE)
  • Previous residential conveyancing experience
