As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the company’s Chief Administrative Officer.
The Person
You will be a people person aligned to the Gateway brand. You must be personable and polite with a pleasant telephone manner and have experience in delivering high quality customer service. Excellent IT skills, including most Microsoft Office applications is essential, as is reliability and consistent high standards of work.
The Job
- Act as a reliable point of contact for the Chief Administrative Officer, supporting with day‑to‑day communications, correspondence, and information flow with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist in the smooth running of multiple offices by coordinating basic administrative tasks and liaising with internal teams and group companies when required.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of meetings, diaries, and key deadlines, ensuring information is organised and followed up appropriately.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors to support effective operations.
- Provide administrative support on corporate and office matters, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail in all documentation.
- Help identify issues or delays, escalating where needed and assisting in resolving routine matters efficiently.
- Support ad‑hoc administrative tasks and projects in a busy, evolving environment, contributing to the wider team as required.

What You Need
- Minimum 1-2 years’ administrative experience in an office environment preferred
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- A full, clean UK driving licence
Job location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm
Salary: Competitive with an annual review
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays
