Receptionist/Administrator
Southend-on-Sea
As we continue to grow, we are searching for an enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator to join us at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea.
The Person
You will be a people person aligned to the Gateway brand. You must be personable and polite with a pleasant telephone manner and have experience in delivering high quality customer service. Excellent IT skills, including most Microsoft Office applications is essential, as is reliability and consistent high standards of work.
The Job
- Folding and processing outgoing post
- Processing keys for contractors and staff, using our software
- Answering telephone calls
- Answering emails
- Always keeping on top of Office maintenance, including putting away stock and tiding the office spaces
- Providing a clean and presentable reception and meeting room area.
- Managing meeting room diary where necessary
- Providing hospitality to guests and visitors
- Scanning and filing documents
- Liaising with couriers and taking in deliveries
- Opening and filtering incoming post
- Stock control and monitoring
What You Need:
- Have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred but not required)
- Are a team player
- Take responsibility and ownership of their duties
- Possess a positive, can-do mindset
- Can be flexible in their workload
- Are well organised
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are outgoing and friendly
Job location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Salary: Competitive with an annual review
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays
