On 11^th September, Gateway was proud to attend the UK Careers Fair at Cliffs Pavilion, Southend. The event brought together employers, training providers, and jobseekers from across the region, creating an invaluable platform for career inspiration and opportunity.

Our team was on hand throughout the day to meet with attendees, discuss career paths, and share insights into the variety of roles available at Gateway. From graduates exploring their first steps to experienced professionals considering a change in direction, it was fantastic to connect with so many enthusiastic individuals.

At Gateway, we believe in investing in people and supporting long-term growth. Taking part in events like the UK Careers Fair is an important way for us to engage directly with those looking to shape their futures in the property industry.

Gateway is committed to ensuring the safety of all residents in the high-rise buildings we manage. As part of this commitment and in line with the UK Building Safety Act 2022, Gateway has implemented a new Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR) System. This system allows residents to report ‘Safety Occurrences’, ensuring that all potential risks are addressed quickly and effectively.

New data from Zoopla confirms that sales agreed per Estate Agent are at their highest level for this time of year since the post-pandemic peak of 2021. With improved mortgage rates, rising affordability, and a growing supply of homes on the market, the housing sector is regaining momentum and confidence.

Gateway is delighted to be sponsoring Waddle-on-Sea, an exciting local event on behalf of the wonderful charity, Havens Hospices. 

Waddle-on-Sea is a showcase of exceptional artistic talent, with 31 large penguin sculptures, sponsored by local businesses, popping up all over Southend-on-Sea and Leigh-on-Sea. You can visit each one by downloading the Waddle-on-Sea app and following the trail. It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a fun day out in the sunshine!

Our penguin, Pole Position, was designed by the incredible Mik Richardson and stands proudly at the top of Pier Hill in Southend-on-Sea for the next 6 weeks.

After the success of the previous sculpture trails, Hares about Town (2021) and Herd in the City (2023), we are delighted to be involved once again to help raise much-needed funds for Havens Hospices. Both were hugely popular events that raised thousands, and with the help of the public, we can do it again.

The penguins will stand tall and proud until 3rd September 2025, so don’t miss out!

We were proud to exhibit at Housing 2025, held at the Manchester Central Convention Complex in Petersfield - Europe’s largest housing event - uniting over 10,000 attendees and featuring more than 500 speakers. This is the only event where the entire UK housing sector comes together annually!

This wonderful occasion offered an incredible opportunity to engage with many brilliant minds across property, real estate, and infrastructure, gaining valuable insights along the way.
