Following the launch of Gateway United Football Club in March, our company team made a memorable debut at a business tournament held at the iconic London Stadium, home of West Ham United. The team, showcasing true Gateway spirit and determination, even enjoyed a special cameo from former Premier League star Paul Konchesky, adding a touch of professional flair to their inaugural campaign.

This was followed this up with another exciting challenge, this time practically on home turf. We participated in a charity football tournament called ‘World Cup-on-Sea’. Hosted at Southend United's Roots Hall Stadium, this 32-team, 7-a-side competition proved to be a fantastic event, raising £32,000 for YMCA Southend!

The formation of Gateway United FC and its participation in these prestigious tournaments highlights the strong sense of community and camaraderie that thrives within Gateway.
